Why is it that when you see a photo of a person looking straight into the camera, the person appears to be looking at you no matter where you stand, but a person who is physically present is only looking at you if you stand directly in their path of vision? It must have something to do with a photograph being a 2 dimensional object and a real person being a 3 dimensional object. |
